We are looking for an Accountant to be responsible for managing investment portfolio, recording investment activities, taking part to audit, preparing valuation material, managing aspect related to general ledger accounting, and collaboration with portfolio managers.
Job Responsibilities
To manage the company’s portfolio of investment, to record the investment activities, to analyze the possible variances and to make the necessary entries in the journals by interacting with the portfolio managers.
To perform detailed review of the yearly audited financial statements, make plans for alternative investment options, and after properly reviewing it, document it in an appropriate manner to be reviewed by the internal and external resources.
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
To provide assistance in the preparation of valuation materials and to assist in monitoring of valuation procedures.
To import and upload the data related to monthly investment in a proper software so that it can be analyzed and reviewed by the senior manager personnel. Further, it will help in identify the errors and working towards solving the discrepancies involved in it.
To coordinate and manage all the aspect related to the general ledger accounting for all the investment and to interact with the investment accounting system as well as the portfolio manager.
Communicate regularly with team in other locations.
Forecast cash flows and make suggestion regarding liquidity.
Create purchase customer orders.
Track AP aging and update weekly schedules for payment facilities payment of invoices due by sending bill reminder and contacting clients.
Monthly reconciliation with major suppliers.
Verify expenses reimbursement requests before submitting for approval.
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
Assist with inventory tracking and inventory counts when needed.
